NMB48’s Murase Shihide launches web magazine, “Light uP.”

NMB48 member Murase Shihide (20) has appeared in numerous fashion magazines and also was involved with the fashion coordination site, “WEAR”.

Now Murase Shihide has created her own web magazine titled “Light uP.”

As Editor-in-Chief, Murase’s site aims to produce a bright, wonderful woman” with news on the latest fashion trends, makeup for fashionable women in their teens and 20s and more.

Murase was recently interviewed by MyNavi about how she decided launch “Light uP.”.  Murase said, “Originally, I wanted to play an active part in the fashion world and the more opportunities I had to take part in magazines, I wanted to have an opportunity to be involved in fashion more.  Because there are not many people active in NMB48 going in that direction, I’d like to be among the first in line”.

When asked if it was true that she wanted to be a model than an idol, Murase said, “That’s right.  Being an idol gave me the opportunity to become a model of a magazine.  But modeling for a fashion magazine is my longtime dream”.

When asked about what her private goal, Murase explained, “My primary goal is to become an exclusive model, so I would like to do my best to work towards that direction.  Also, to have my own photobook is a goal.  There are times when I will wear a swimsuit for gravure as an idol but as the number of my fans look forward to my fashion is increasing, I would like to showoff various fashion in a photo book”.

When asked if there is a model that she admires, Murase said, “I really like Meisa Kuroki since I was an elementary school student.  I like health and beauty and I want to be a cool woman”.
