Nogizaka46 to perform at more overseas events, February 11th performance will be at Anime Festival Asia (C3 AFA Hong Kong)

Nogizaka46 has accomplished many of their goals since debuting back in 2011.

For one, performing at Tokyo Dome was a major dream and in November 2017, they accomplished that with a live concert.  In fact, the total number of people attending their concerts was 460,000 total concert attendees for 2017.

Their March 2017 single “Influencer” was their first million+ selling single and since then, all three singles that came afterward have become million selling singles.

Their “BIRTHDAY LIVE” at Saitama Super Arena, which was held for three days straight, brought around 100,000 people.  Their “Midsummer national Tour” at Meiji Jingu Stadium and performances in Sendai, Osaka, Nagoya, Niigata brought in 290,000 people.

Suffice to say, Nogizaka46 is red hot and with those attendance numbers, make them the top idol group in Japan at this time.

Also, the group is starting to have the support of a growing number of female fans.  Their appearances on female fashion magazines have grown, Shiraishi Mai’s second photobook “Passport” is receiving a 15th reprint of an additional 10,000 more being printed thanks to the 30% of female fans who purchased the photobook.

But as they are fully established, the group is now looking to perform overseas.

While the group has performed in Paris back in 2014 (for Japan Expo), Singapore in 2017 (for C3 AFA Singapore – Anime Festival Asia), their next overseas performance in 2018 will be in Hong Kong (for C3 AFA Hong Kong – Anime Festival Asia) on February 11th.

Nogizaka46 certainly looks poised to perform at more overseas events in the near future.
