Kamen Joshi member Kitamura Maki announces she will be graduating and leaving Alice Project

Kamen Joshi member Kitamura Maki announced on her blog that she is graduating from the group and the graduation ceremony is set for April 7th.

Kitamura also announced that she will also be leaving Alice Project.

Kitamura explained why she is leaving, “I know this is a sudden announcement.  I am shocked but the reason why I am graduating is that I have a herniated disc and it has relapsed.  I was hurt during a live performance and I can’t perform.  It has been frustrating because I love dancing. I really regret that I have to graduate but since the injury, it has been difficult to cure.  So, I decided that I have to graduate.”

“I have not decided what to do after graduation.  I’ve been an idol since I was a high school student, standing on the stage for seven years, it was because everyone’s support.”

Kitamura also said, “I can not really thank you enough.  I know it’s not enough but ‘thank you'”.

“I know a lot of people who are thinking about coming out to see me through April 7th.  When you come out to see me, please support me.  There is little time yet remaining, I would be happy if you support me”.
