TWICE’s second Japan single “Candy Pop” surpasses 300,000+ cumulative sales in one week

TWICE’s second Japanese CD single “Candy Pop” began with sales of 199,125 for the first three days but by the end of its week, it has now sold 303,746 copies.  The group is #1 on the Billboard Japan Charts.

This beats their first Japanese single “One More Time” which sold 219,131 in its first week.

With an appearance at NHK’s “Kouhaku Uta Gassen” at the end of 2017, the popularity of TWICE has boosted sales and their popularity has increased in Japan.

At #2 this week is the WM Entertainment K-Pop group B1A4 with their single “Do You Remember” which sold 19,508 and at #3, the Stardust Promotion Japanese boy band SUPER ☆ DRAGON which sold 17,941 copies.
