Miyamae Maki of CoCo marries celebrity photographer Haginiwa Keita

Former idol and CoCo member Miyamae Maki (45) has married celebrity photographer Haginiwa Keita (52).

Miyamae posted on her blog, “I entered the marriage registration.  It was over 20 years ago when I worked with photographer Haginiwa Keita and we met again at a photoshoot and started dating around autumn of last year.”

“I thought that I could live alone, that may be good…I thought.”

“But we thought it might be good for both of us to be spend our peaceful days with one another and pay attention to each others health.”

“I will continue to create recipes and be involved with production work.   I hope to create something that is unique from a new perspective in life.”

“To everyone who has cared for me for a very long time, I am grateful, please let me greet you again next time we meet.  I will do my best in the future.”

Maki was a member of the idol group CoCo which began in 1989.  When the group broke up in 1994, she pursued a career as an actress.  In 2004, Miyamae left the entertainment industry to pursue a path of being a cook and studied at the hospitality education institution, “Le Cordon Bleu” and now runs her own personal cooking blog site.

Haginiwa Keita has shot photos for many of Japan’s top pop stars and actresses which include pop star Hamasaki Ayumi, Amuro Namie, MAX, actresses Matsu Takako, Hirosue Ryoko, Tomosaka Rie, Fukada Kyoko, Ueto Aya and many more.
