Gravure model Koseta Mayu joins “Terrace House: Opening New Doors”

As always, if you haven’t watched “Terrace House: Opening New Doors”, especially episode 17 (Season 3, episode 1), do not read further as there are spoilers.

SPOILER ALER!

“Terrace House: Opening New Doors” is back with episode 17 (first episode of season 3).

With Komuro Ami leaving “Terrace House”, Shohei goes out with Komuro and he finally gets to see her showcase a better side of her.

And as everyone has a goodbye party for her, everyone says what they wanted to say including Taka and Shohei but the one that will probably have everyone tearing up is Tsubasa’s emotions of seeing Ami leave because they were so close.

Btw…an interview with Ami and footage not shown in the series were uploaded to YouTube:

But we probably got to see the best side of Ami than we ever saw her in any of the previous episodes.  Sure, there are times she showed us that “black-hearted Ami” but it sucks that we didn’t get to see more of this cool, nice Ami.

But as Ami said goodbye, it didn’t take long for a new housemate to move in.

This time, it’s gravure model Koseta Mayu.  And when she moves in, the first two she meets is Shion and Shohei.

Koseta brings a sort of vibrancy (well, it’s only her first episode and I thought the same thing with MaiMai in “Terrace House: Boys & Girls Next Door”, so first episode appearances are not a good barometer to observe one just yet).  But I like the warmth that Koseta Mayu brings to the “Terrace House” but there is one thing that will be interesting… Koseta falls in love at first sight.

And immediately she seems smitten with Shion, who tells her that he likes someone else…who happens to be Tsubasa.

But it will be interesting to see if there will be a lover’s triangle between Koseta Mayu, Tsubasa and Shion.  So, many people wanted to see a Shion and Tsubasa romance.  But we’ll see…

Also, interesting to see both Shion and Shohei look at Koseta’s gravure images.  While a bit pervy (truthfully, most guys I know would have done the same thing), it is reminiscent of “Terrace House: Boys & Girls Next Door” when Sugata Tetsuya (Tecchan) and Miyagi Daiki (Daikikun) saw Kakei Miwako’s gravure photos.

All I know is that things are going to become interesting in the “Terrace House” and I can’t wait to see what will happen next week!

Meanwhile, we’ll leave Yama with the final word…
