“Kiru”, “Mothra vs. Godzilla” star Hoshi Yuriko has passed away

Actress Hoshi Yuriko (74) has passed away.

Hoshi died of lung cancer on May 16th and a funeral held by relatives will be held.

Hoshi was one of the youngest entertainers from Toho during the 1960’s and was known for her role in the Wakadasho movies.

Hoshi would star in kaiju films such as “Mothra vs. Godzilla” (1964) and “Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster” (1964) but would also appear in Okamoto Kihachi’s 1968 film “Kill!”.
