Nogizaka46’s Shiraishi Mai’s second solo photobook “Passport” was released on February 7, 2017 and the book has now has now surpassed 300,000 copies in circulation.
On May 17th, an additional 10,000 copies were reprinted, it’s 19th reprinting (which is unprecedented in Japan).
A Kodansha sales representative said, “It is the biggest selling hit for a photo collection in the history of Kodansha, since company’s founding 100-years ago. Exceeding 300,000 copies is a historical feat that has happened only once in 100 years!”.
