Kimura Takuya and Kudo Shizuka’s youngest daughter Mitsuki (Kōki) also debuted as a composer last year

As Kimura Takuya and Kudo Shizuka’s youngest daughter Mitsuki (Kōki) has become one of the most popular figures to be discussed on the Internet this past weekend in Japan for her modeling debut for the magazine, “Elle Japon”, new details are emerging about Kōki.

As music is an obvious big part of the family, with Kimura Takuya as a member of SMAP and Kudo Shizuka having a successful music career as a idol singer in the ’80s and a solo career right after and older sister Kokomi winning music competitions, Kōki also learned to play the flute and piano at a young age.

For her mother’s album “Rin”, Kōki composed three songs for the album, “鋼の森”, “かすみ草” and “Time after time”.  It was also revealed that she composed the ballad “Yume” sung by Nakashima Mika (performed live but not released on a single or album at this time).

It was also revealed that Kōki attends an international school in Tokyo, she speaks Japanese, English (which she is fluent in)and French and is currently studying Spanish.  She also admires model Cindy Crawford.

And the photographer is the legendary Kurigami Kazumi, who also photographed her mother, Kudo Shizuka, for her 30th anniversary album cover.
