AKB48 member Takeuchi Miyu receiving attention worldwide through her YouTube channel

AKB48 Team B member Takeuchi Miyu made her debut as part of Team 4 back in 2010.

As a college student attending Keio University, singing is a passion for Takeuchi Miyu and in fact, prior to AKB48, she was participating in auditions and became a member of the group Fruit.  But the group only lasted a year and right after, Takeuchi would participate in an AKB48 audition two months later, which she would eventually pass.

In 2014, Takeuchi would create her own YouTube channel posting videos of her singing covers of popular Japanese songs.

In March 2018, Takeuchi received attention for her cover of South Korean music artist DEAN’s “Instagram” in English and Korean and also her performance on the show “Produce48”.

Takeuchi’s most recent cover is AKB48’s “Koisuru Fortune Cookie” and her most popular cover so far is Oda Kazumasa’s “Tashikanakoto” which has received over 281,000 views.

And now many people impressed with her vocals are letting her know and she is shocked and surprised by the positive comments as posted on her Twitter account.
