“Bachi Bachi” manga artist/writer Sato Takahiro has passed away

Manga artist Sato Takahiro who is best known for his continuous sumo manga series “Ippon!”, “Bachi Bachi”, “Bachi Bachi BURST” and “Sameshima, Saigo no Ju Go-nichi” has passed away in his sleep at the age of 41.

His passing was announced on the Akita Shoten website and his funeral was attended by only close relatives.

Sato’s latest work will be featured in “Shukan Shonen Champion” no. 33.
