Kodansha has now printed 300,000 copies of the Nogizaka46 photobook “Nogisatsu”

Nogizaka46’s Shiraishi Mai’s “Passport” photo book surpassed 300,000 copies in circulation which was unprecedented.

And back in May, Kodansha wanted to make sure that Nogizaka46’s new photobook “Nogisatsu” had a strong circulation with 200,000 copies being printed. It was the first time a photobook received this many copies for its first printing.

In June 26, the photo book had its second reprint with an additional 80,000 copies reprinted making a total of 280,000 copies in circulation.

On July 14th, it was reported that  the photo book has received an additional “emergency” reprint of an additional 20,000 copies and now, over 300,000 copies of “Nogisatsu” are in circulation.

Will Nogizaka46’s photobook reach 400,000 copies in circulation?

“Nogisatsu” won 1st place on the Oricon rankings recording 182,000 copies sold for its first week on sale.
