Suda Akari’s fans made sure that her first photobook sold over 10,000 copies

SKE48 member Suda Akari (26) is known for her sweet personality and her popularity has no doubt surged in the past few years, earning her the #2 spot in the 10th AKB48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo (General Election).

But with her first photobook titled “Suda Akari First Photo Album” released on August 22nd, Daily Shincho reported earlier in the week that Suda’s photobook has not sold as well.    According to Daily Shincho, 50,000 copies were printed.  For the first three weeks of release, “Suda Akari First Photo Album” sold a cumulative number of 8,600 copies.  10,000 or less in sales is considered a disaster.

SKE48’s Matsui Jurina’s (21) first photobook three years ago sold 22,000 copies.  HKT48’s Miyawaki Sakura’s (20) first photobook sold 34,000 copies.

After seeing the news from Daily Shincho, Suda took to Twitter hoping she could sell over 10,000 copies:

And sure enough, Suda Akari’s fans wanted to ensure that Suda’s photobook sold over 10,000 copies and they made it happen, as Suda Akari’s photobook sold over 10,000 copies.

Suda immediately took to Twitter to thank her fans for purchasing her photo book:
