IZ*ONE makes first public performance at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, celebrates Honda Hitomi’s birthday on VLIVE afterward

IZ*ONE fans prayed for better weather as the rain clouds allowed for IZ*ONE to have their first public performance at a Doosan Bears vs. LG Twins baseball game at Jamsil Stadium.

IZ*ONE Top 2 from “Produce48”, Jang Wonyoung and Miyawaki Sakura took part in the starting pitch with Wonyoung pitching and Miyawaki batting.

The group later performed “Nekkoya” in front of the audience.

And they got to watch and enjoy the game, as well as get hooked up with cool Doosan Bears baseball gear:

They had danced to TWICE’s “Dance the Night Away”:

A first VLIVE was posted at Jamsil Baseball Stadium featuring Lee Chaeyon and birthday girl, Honda Hitomi:

Hours later, the group came together to celebrate Honda Hitomi’s birthday.  If anything, it has shown how all 12 members have grown close to each other and how the chemistry within each member is living up to the group’s name, IZ*ONE (12 members coming together as ONE).

The members also discussed the meaning of the numbers they wore on their Doosan Bears jersey.

IZ*ONE (pronounced as “Eyez One”/IZ=12 and the meaning is 12 members coming togther as ONE) features Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, Ahn Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minjoo and Lee Chae Yeon.

The 12 members are the finalists of Mnet’s “Produce48” which began with 48 trainees from South Korea and 48 members of Japan’s AKB48G (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48).

Slated to make their music debut at the end of October, it was announced that the group will be starring in a reality TV show also in October on MNET.
