AKB48’s Takeuchi Miyu, Miyazaki Miho, Iwate Saho and fromis_9’s Jang Gyuri will be remembered for their performance of BTS’ “The Truth Untold” on “Produce48”.
Episode 8 would be remembered for this performance as it returned Jang Gyuri’s confidence after a bad vocal performance in the Group Battle, it would be remembered for elevating Miyazaki Miho’s status to the top of the rankings but unfortunately, despite the solid performance for the group, it would was a shocker to viewers who witnessed top ranked Takeuchi Miyu not being mentioned and close to elimination. With a shocking rank at #30, keeping her in the Top 30 and she would make it in The Top 20 in the elimination round.
While Takeuchi Miyu did not make it into the top 12 to become a member of IZ*ONE, it did give her the opportunity to know what she wants to do with her life post-Produce48 and that is to perform as a solo artist and become a global artist. Learning other languages and working on her craft for her love of music and will be graduating from AKB48 in December.
Takeuchi has since released a cover of songs she performed on “Produce48” and the latest is the BTS ballad, “The Truth Untold”. Check it out!
