IZ*ONE’s reality show “IZ*ONE CHU” Episode 4 – The Final Episode – Members Training Continues!

IZ*ONE’s reality show “IZ*ONE CHU” episode 4 will be airing.

IZ*ONE (pronounced as “Eyez One”/IZ=12 and the meaning is 12 members coming together as ONE) features Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, Ahn Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minju and Lee Chaeyeon.

The 12 members are the finalists of Mnet’s “Produce48” which began with 48 trainees from South Korea and 48 members of Japan’s AKB48G (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48).

The show will be aired at 11:00 p.m. KST on Thursday night (for those in the US, that is 6:00 a.m. PST on Thursday morning).  The fourth episode will be the final episode (only four episodes were planned).

Similar to “Produce48”, expect to see English subtitled videos to pop up on YouTube throughout today or next few days.

A teaser for episode 4 was released:

In episode 3, we saw the members cooking a dish together to present to “Produce48” trainers.

We saw Kwon Eunbi, Ahn Yujin and Kim Minju meet with choreographer Choi Young Jun and we saw Lee Chaeyeon, Jang Wonyoung and Kim Chaewon visit choreographer Bae Yoon Jeong.

For episode 4, we saw teasers of Kang Hyewon, Jo Yuri, Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi visiting FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki and Soyou and a teaser trailer was released today.  But who is the Mnet employee that they are also visiting?

Also, who is Miyawaki Sakura and also Choi Yena visiting alone?

The episode begins with everyone leaving the house to meet whoever they need to meet.

While Sakura is alone and we see her loving games but who will she be meeting?

We then see Kang Hyewon, Jo Yuri, Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi preparing to visit FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki and Soyou and Nako thankful to Lee Hong Ki with her vocals.

The four surprise both Lee Hong Ki and Soyou.  Soyou guessed correctly what they would be making and they taste the food.

Meanwhile, Kwon Eunbi, Ahn Yujin and Kim Minju present their dish to choreographer Choi Young Jun.

Who is Choi Yena visiting?  It’s her family!

Her mother prepared food which Yena is loving but now she is preparing what she made.

Lol…her brother’s reaction!  But what a cool hip family!

We then see Choi Yena before “Produce48” and see her wishes and dreams and photos when she was a baby.

Wow! We learn that Yena had cancer! Choi Yena discussing how she was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer during her childhood and that she was so sick that the hospital told her parents to give up.  Due to her family having to pay hospital bills, her parents sold kimbap everyday into the early morning.

So, what she brought her family to eat was kimbap.  Her mom was in tears and her father is shocked because it must have been unspoken and he asked her “you remember that?”.    The parents realized why she made kimbap and it led to a precious hug between father and daughter and her father expressing how proud he is of his daughter.

Kang Hyewon, Jo Yuri, Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi now visiting a “Produce48” junior assistant at Mnet.  He is a big fan of Chaeyeon!

We are now seeing all members of IZ*ONE about to surprise someone.  It happens to be a junior production assistant who help take care of the idols during the taping of the show.

Something happened to the group when they returned back home.  What happened?

It appears the audience are not aware they will be watching “IZ*ONE CHU” with the group.  The group seated and having their soda and popcorn ready.

We see the making of the intro scene.  Great reaction from the audience!  The group reacting to a few things from episode 1, Wongyoung’s adolescence scene and Sakura sleeping with her eyes open.  And when Eunbi broke the AC.

Nako using Lee Chaeyeon’s device to prevent cheek puffiness and we get to see Sakura and Choi Yena joking around.  They have become the Tom & Jerry of IZ*ONE.

We watch as the group returning back home and they are shocked.  Everything is cleaned up!

We learn that while Sakura was waiting to meet with her person, she cleaned the dorm and everyone’s room, folded their clothes, vacuumed and made things clean!

Now who is Sakura visiting alone?  It will be revealed!

Oh, she is visiting a t-shirt maker and using the drawings she made!  She is making t-shirts for her fellow IZ*ONE members!

But she made Nako super small and Hitomi with super big cheeks.  She wrote a message for each person.

Everyone reading what Sakura wrote them.

Choi Yena made something for Sakura to eat….Oh my!

What did Sakura write for Chaeyeon?  She wrote that she is happy they debuted together and that she is happy that Chaeyeon has taken care of them.

Such a wonderful friendship between Team Chaekura!

The group watches TWICE announcing….TWICE fan Nako saying she sees three princesses (TWICE’s Nayeon, Sana and Chaeyoung are announcing) on screen.  Sakura replies, there are four princess here.  Yujin asked her, “What about me?”.  Sakura tells her…”You’re a prince!”.

We see the the group announced for the running for the award for “M COUNTDOWN”.  Everyone shocked and celebrating.

We watch the group on the stage and then the group winning their first award and grateful to WIZ*ONE.  Choi Yena crying and being comforted by fromis_9.  Lee Chaeyeon hugging TWICE (as she knew them from the reality show “SIXTEEN”).

We then see the group celebrating behind-the-scenes with their first award!

We then see bloopers and past “Produce48” footage with the members.  Yena pulling a prank while someone was sleeping.

How Kim Minju woke up eating each time she woke up.  How members would take food and drinks Minju would keep on her bed.  But someone has been taking Minju’s food and drink?  What did Yujin hide on her bed?

We learn that Nako also had snacks hidden by her bed and terrified by bugs.

And we are seeing the group members how they bonded from “Produce48” to present.

Through their membership training, IZ*ONE bonded, became closer as a unit and in the end, like their group name…12 became one….IZ*ONE.

We are definitely going to miss this show!  Hopefully there will be an “IZ*ONE CHU Episode 2”.
