HUNTER x HUNTER to go on hiatus again

It was announced that Togashi Yoshihiro’s “HUNTER x HUNTER” will be going on hiatus again after the release of “Weekly Shonen Jump” no. 52 (released on November 26th).

The series was resumed back on September 22nd after a 5 1/2 month hiatus.

This time, Togashi commented that he will resume once he receives consultation in regards to his health and current situation.  The manga will be on hiatus for awhile and fans will be informed of the manga date when decided.

“HUNTER x HUNTER” has gone through numerous hiatus since the manga began serialization in March 1998.  In 2014, the manga returned after a two-year hiatus and continued for two months until returning in April 2016.  The manga went on hiatus again on June 4, 2016 and was on hiatus for a year and eight months and resumed back in June 26, 2017.

Two months later the manga went on hiatus on August 31st and returned back in January 29, 2018.  The manga went on hiatus on April 9th and returned a few months ago, on September 22nd.
