Actress Ichihara Etsuko (82) passed away on January 12th in a hospital in Tokyo due to heart failure.
Ichihara, who has appeared in more than a hundred films is best known for her role on the TV drama “Kaseifuhamita!”, film such as “Samurai Rebellion”, “Black Rain” and the voice of Miyamizu Hitoha in the animated film “Your Name”. Ichihara was also the longtime narrator for the animated series “Manga Nippon Mukashibanashi”.
