NGT48 member Sugawara Riko (18) will be taking a break from group activities to focus on treatment after having surgery.
Sugawara injured her left knee last year and while she continued activities within a reasonable degree, she wanted to aim for complete recovery, so she had surgery on January 15th.
The surgery went well and she will be taking a break from group activities for awhile and concentrate on treatment and recuperating.
According to Sugawara, her doctor said it could take around 3 to 4 months to recover and return back to the stage.
