NGT48 Theater Manager Matsumura Takumi apologizes to NGT48 fans before theater performance

As new NGT48 manager Matsumura Takumi (44) is working hard to make things right with NGT48 fans, taking over the position held by former manager Imamura Etsuro

Matsumura who took over the new role on January 14th greeted fans before the NGT48 theater performance and explained the current situation and once again apologized to fans.  Also revealing that they hope to resume NGT48 activities in mid-February.

Matsumura said,  “There have been a lot of reports done on Yamaguchi Maho every day, but we are checking the facts one-by-one.  In such circumstances, I will refrain from speaking in relation to the privacy of members and their future”.

“I’m really, really sorry and I hope I can regain the trust so that we can meet the expectations of people in the prefecture and the fans, and we would like to continue doing it and NGT48 would like to continue it into the future”.

Matsumura’s speech received a lot of cheers from fans.

This is the first time a public apology was made by NGT48 management to fans in Niigata.
