Shinoda Mariko announced that she got married!

When Shinoda Mariko (32) said she wanted to get married by the age of 32, she wasn’t kidding.

The former AKB48 member turned TV talent/model announced that she has gotten married (back on February 16th) to a businessman three years younger than her and also a man she just met back in October.

This is the second marriage for a top ranked AKB48 member after last year’s marriage of Maeda Atsuko (27) to actor Katsuji Ryo (32) last July.

According to Shinoda, she met her husband at a dinner party with friends at the end of October last year.  She said the two had many things in common from growing up eating brown rice, ideal family, the future.

Many of her AKB48 friends took to social media to congratulation Shinoda.

Takahashi Minami congratulated Shinoda with a three shot of her and Kojima Haruna with Shinoda:

Oshima Yuko congratulated Mariko but was curious if it was OK to talk about brown rice?

Minegishi Minami congratulated Shinoda:

Itano Tomomi congratulated the couple and wrote that probability of marriage of those eating brown rice is higher over white rice:

Shinoda wrote “There is a rumor this will be a brown rice wedding”!

Akimoto Sayaka echoed the brown rice:

Kojima Haruna wrote… “Brown Rice” and wrote to Takahashi Minami, “A small white rice faction” which Takahashi replied “Oh, us?”.

Meanwhile company SHARP tweeted to Shinoda Mariko and Koji Haru of their cooker that makes brown rice:
