Back in September 2005, the girl group 9nine made their debut.
Originally with nine members, the group now consists of four members: Nishiwaki Sayaka, Satake Uki, Yoshii Kanae and Murata Hirona.
Around the fall of 2017, members and staff started to discuss each members thoughts and everyone came to the conclusion that they wanted to challenge new experiences and so, they decided to suspend all music activity and focus on personal activities.
An official statement was posted on the group’s website of the suspension of music activity.
The group’s performance at Nakano Sun Plaza on April 6, 2019 will be their final live performance before going on an indefinite hiatus.
