HKT48’s Tomioka Asuka announced that she will be graduating from the group

HKT48/KIV member Tomioka Asuka (21) announced at a performance at Fukuoka;s Scakar Espacio on February 28th that she will be graduating from the group.

Her final performance will be on March 30th and said that she would like to go further in expressing herself in the future in different ways”.

Tomioka told the audience that she will have a brand new start and appreciated their fans for their support and that she will do her best.

Tomioka passed the audition to become a second generation HKT48 member in June 2012.  She was ranked in the Senbatsu Sosenkyo in 2016 at #42 and in 2017 at #38.
