Shibata Aya to appear as an announcer for CBC TV’s “Chant!”

Former SKE48 member Shibata Aya, now a free announcer (freelance announcer) will appear in her first terrestrial TV program (television signals transmitted by a TV station) as an sub-announcer.

Shibata, who has had announcer roles on AbemaTV (online), will be hosting the CBC TV (Naka ward, Nagoya City) weekend evening live program “Chant!” starting on April 1st. “Chant!” is hosted by main announcers Ooishi Kunihiko and Natsumi Nanami.

Shibata said, “It was one of my dreams to do a regular job in Nagoya, so I came to Tokyo for about 2 and a half years in which I didn’t think my dream would come that soon”.
