NGT48 Investigation – No members involved in Yamaguchi Maho assault

A third party commission hired to investigate the Yamaguchi Maho assault has determined that no NGT48 members were involved in the assault.

The singer who was assaulted by two male fans at her home back in December, posted a tweet in January which inspired many people worldwide for her bravery of speaking out, after revealing that the men were released and member(s) may have leaked her private information apologized on stage.

The report was received back on March 18th and revealed on March 21st.

It was reported that there were deficiencies in management operations.

AKS said they accepted the results of the investigation and would like to do their best to improve the deficiencies pointed out by the third party commission.

The report did mention that certain members did have contact with fans in public.  To have any close relationship with fans outside of work is considered inappropriate.  Management said they will create strict rules if relationships with fans are discovered.
