“Meitantei Conan: Konjo no Fist” (Detective Conan: The Fist of the Blue Sapphire) is expected to surpass 10 billion yen in the box office due to longer Golden Week

“Meitantei Conan: Konjo no Fist” (Detective Conan: The Fist of the Blue Sapphire), the 23rd animated film for the popular series took home 1,886,292,700 yen (around $16.85 million US) in its first three days.

Nowt he latest announcement is that the the latest film is expected to surpass 10 billion yen and surpass last year’s film, “Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer” which is currently the highest earnining “Meitantei Conan” film with over 9.18 billion yen in sales and the eighth highest grossing anime film in Japan of all time.

With Golden Week lasting 10 consecutive days, it is expected that the film will make over 10 billion yen in box office sales in Japan.
