AKB48 Team 8's Ikumi Nakano announces graduation, final performance set for May 30th

AKB48 Team 8 and AKB48 Team K’s Nakano Ikumi has announced that she will be graduating from the group.

Representing Tottori Prefecture, Nakano announced her graduation performance on SHOWROOM. According to Nakano, she will be graduation performance will be on May 30th (her last handshake meeting will be on May 6th).

Nakano said, “I think it was good that Team 8 was prosperous, so I don’t regret anything in these last five years”.

According to Nakano, she wanted to find a new path in life and struggled to wonder if she was suitable as an idol and wants to have various dreams and achieve it with her own power.
