Downtown’s Matsumoto Hitoshi, former AKB48 members Watanabe Mayu and Kitahara Rie were surprise guests at Sashihara Rino’s graduation concert

The graduation concert at Yokohama Stadium for HKT48 member Sashihara Rino (26) also featured numerous surprises.

Sashihara gave Uchida a message “Thank you very much for the wonderful memories. Let’s go home again in Heaven” and a brief video was shown of Sashihara and Uchida and then from the side of the stage came Downtown’s Matsumoto Hitoshi (55) dressed as Uchida. Matsumoto said, “Yuya-san, I’m not myself. I am the one who stopped the flame. I will thank Akimoto for coming”.

Together they performed “Shekina Baby” which made the audience in the venue scream with laughter.

Sashihara’s good friend and former AKB48/NGT48 captain Kitahara Rie sung “Choose me!” with AKB48’s original first gen and still performing members Minegishi Minami, Kashiwagi Yuki and Miyazaki Miho. Also, former AKB48 member Watanabe Mayu who did a duet with Sashihara for “Avocado Janeshi”.
