Former AKB48G General Manager/Team A Captain Takahashi Minami is married

It was announced that former AKB48 captain Takahashi Minami (28) has married a man (who works in IT).

This marks the third marriage of an AKB48 original Kami 7 member following Maeda Atsuko (27) who married in July 2018, Shinoda Mariko (33) who married in February 2019.

Takahashi wrote, “I have a report to all the fans who have always supported me. I am very sorry to discuss personal matters but I, Takahashi Minami, registered on May 1st to a man that I have long been associated with”.

“He was born in the Showa era and is 15 years older and I was born in the Heisei era. It was back in May we started a relationship and we decided to talk about marriage and having a family in the beginning of the new era”.

“He is a gentleman who also likes the crazy cats in my home. He smiles and supports me every day”.

“For the future, working together as a couple, I want to build a family. I will continue to work harder than ever and hope you will continue to keep supporting me in the future”.

NOTE: Showa Era is (1926-1989), Heisei Era is (1990-April 30, 2019). So if he is 15 years older than Takamina who is 28 (She was born on April 8, 1991), that means he is 46 years old and was born in 1976.
