Mogami Mogi explains why she’s not returning to Dempagumi.inc

It’s been two years since Mogami Mogi left Dempagumi.inc. When Mogami left, it was said she left due to mental and physical problems.

A fan favorite and also was the eldest member of the group, Mogami has done well focusing on her activities as a TV talent and model.

But Mogami (30) restarted her Twitter on May 5th and posted an answer to those wondering if she will return to Dempagumi.inc after she posted the final music video when she was a part of the group:

But Mogami immediately followed up with a post if she is returning to Dempagumi.inc:

何か、誤解をしてる人もいそうなのですが、でんぱ組を抜けたのはでんぱ組が嫌いになったからではないですよ。話題にあまり出せなかったのは自分の不甲斐なさから抜け、意固地になって、上手く言えなかったからです。ぼくの人生でしたよ、でんぱ組は。これからは、違う道なだけで、過去は変わりません。

Mogami wrote, “I think for some people, they were likely to misunderstand but it’s not that I dislike Dempagumi nor was that a reason why I left. I was not able to discuss the topic because I felt intimidated and I didn’t have the courage to explain it well. It had to do with my life and now I’m on a different path but that will not change the past with Dempagumi”.

なので、脱退からこうして２年経とうとするいまでも、「戻ってきたら？」とファンの方から言われますが、それはできません。ねむいないし。体調面で活動できないと、これ以上迷惑をかけることはしたくないと、抜けたんです。今は今の形のでんぱ組があって、それはとても、素晴らしい事だと思ってます。

Mogami continued, “So, since it’s been two years since I left, I have been asked by fans “What if you came back?”. But it’s not possible. If you cannot work in the right physical condition, you don’t want to inconvenience anyone and so I left”.
