Takeuchi Mariya’s “Plastic Love” gets a music video 35-years later

City Pop has made a comeback and with the popularity of Yamashita Tatsuro and Takeuchi Mariya (Note: For those, who do not know, both are husband and wife) and their music, many people are trying to get their hands on the classics.

And for Takeuchi Mariya, her album “Variety – 30th Anniversary Edition” (Note: You can read our review here) is being promoted at music stores in Japan.

But what is interesting is that Warner Music Japan has created a music video for “Plastic Love” 35-years-later.

Considering the resurgence of the popular 1984 song and how popular it has gotten in the past year, this is not all that surprising, because it is an awesome song!  And the music video has already received over 307,000 views on YouTube.
