HKT48’s Kodama Haruka has been resting due to poor health as of late but Kodama announced that she will be graduating from the group on June 9th to focus on an acting career. It was also announced that she will be managed by Avex Group Entertainment’s “Avex Asunaro Company” starting on June 10th.
According to Kodama, she said, “I have been thinking about resuming activities as an HKT48 member since the spring of this year, but I thought that there was a way to give back to my fans, even if I went solo, I decided to graduate in April. After that, I will have a relationship with you and I will be managed by Avex. I felt I can expand my range because they are a company that deals not only with acting but also the music industry”.
It was announced that Kodama will not be taking part in a graduation performance.
Kodama is one of the original first gen members of HKT48, passing the audition back in July 2011.
