dempagumi.inc’s Furukawa Mirin talks about her marriage announcement on her blog post

dempagumi.inc’s Furukawa Mirin posted a blog post about life and about when she announced her marriage to Aso Shuichi (mangaka, creator of “Saiki Kusuo no Sainan/The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.).

Aso tweeted the marriage on his Twitter, while Furukawa announced it at their concert at Zepp DiverCity and on Twitter:

Furukawa updated her blog on September 24th about her profession as an idol, a profession that she very much wanted to do but understands if she lost fans and how she was full of anxiety of making the announcement.

Mirin said that she thought about the purpose of life outside of being an idol and also mentioned that in her family, there is a sign of uterine health issues that also made her make the decision and wrote, “I thought I would regret it if I got worse when I wanted a family in the future”.

Furukawa wrote, “I’ve always said that it would be nice to have a culture where one can be an idol even after they got married but when you have to face it, it’s impossible. I told the label that I would announce or plan to suspend or graduate. Usually there is a plan for the future, but I was told that I can think about it now, but I don’t have to decide now”.
