Mori Sanchu’s Kurosawa Kazuko has tested positive for COVID-19

Another celebrity has tested positive for COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).

Kurosawa Kazuko (41) of the comedy unit Mori Sanchu has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to her company Yoshimoto Kogyo, Mrs. Kurosawa had a fever back on March 21st, and then the fever fell, but her taste and smell remained abnormal, so she was diagnosed with pneumonia at a medical institution in Tokyo on April 1st. On April 3rd, she tested positive.

Kurosawa says the symptoms of pneumonia subside and there are no coughs.

Kurosawa last participated in the CM shooting on March 25th after the fever subsided, but on the following day, when it was reported in the news that abnormalities in taste and smell could be symptoms of novel coronavirus, so she canceled all work.

She then went to visit multiple medical institutions to get checked on April 1st.

Kurosawa has no idea how she became infected and to this day, she is unable to smell and taste.

Yoshimoto Kogyo commented, “We will work to prevent infection under the guidance of medical professionals and government agencies.”
