Actor Yamauchi Daisuke was arrested for sexually assaulting and stealing from a 70-year-old woman

Actor Yamauchi Daisuke (26) was arrested for suspicion of sexually assaulting, injuring a 70-year-old woman and stealing a hand bag which contained around Y15,000.

According to the Musashino police station, on January 26th at around midnight, a woman was coming home from her part-time job from a restaurant.  At the time when she was about to lock her door, the suspect invaded her home.  He pushed the woman down, got on the woman, pushed her face down and urged her to kiss him and attempted to perform an obscene act.  The woman who lived alone sought help from a resident who lived in a separate room in the apartment complex and the resident contacted 110.

The woman suffered a broken hip during the assault.  The woman was not acquainted with him, but the suspect knew that the woman was in her 70s.

Yamauchi was identified through security cameras and he admitted to the charges.

Eri Office president, Katayama Eri posted on the official management site, “Actor Yamauchi Daisuke who belongs to our company is reported to have been arrested by the Musashino Police Station due to suspected involuntary injuries.  We deeply apologize to the victim of this incident, all the fans and the people who knew Yamauchi for the inconvenience.  We are currently considering measures and would like to report it an appropriate time”.

The company has deleted Yamauchi from the actors list on their homepage.
