Former Keyakizaka46 member Oda Nana, graduated on January 23rd. She was announced to have graduated along with two others which included center Hirata Yurina. While management pretty much took er out of performing as far back as September 2019.
On July 31st, Oda created her own YouTube channel and on August 1st, Oda acknowledged and apologized for dating a man during her years as a Keyakizaka46 member.
In Japan, 48/46 groups and many idol groups tend to have a “Love Ban” (no dating or relationships while an idol).
But unlike two other former Keyakizaka46 members (Shida Manaka and Suzumoto Miyu) who have received flames, Oda has receiveda good number of support. As media try to discern this many people feel that Oda is following a path of Tegoshi Yuya, the former Johnny’s Jimusho/NEWS member who refused to keep quiet of his scandals and went on YouTube and is willing to talk about it.
That is what many people are appreciative and supportive, if one reads the comments to Oda’s YouTube channel that she was forthcoming and willing to talk about it than avoid it and acknowledges Keyakizaka46 fans.
Many accuse Shida and Suzumoto for abandoning their Keyakizaka46 fans.
Needless to say, Keyakizaka46 announced several weeks ago to go through a reboot after the bad press received of the former members.
