BUMP OF CHICKEN’s bassist Naoi Yoshifumi apologizes for affair

BUMP OF CHICKEN bassist Naoi Yoshifumi (40) updated his Twitter account and apologize of reports of his past affairs.

Naoi wrote, “The article made listeners who love BUMP OF CHICKEN’s music feel unpleasant and made people lose trust in our music.  I am very sorry to my band members Fujiwara Motoo, Masukawa Hiroaki, Masu Hideo, my family and staff who supported me.  I’m really sorry.  I would like to restore the trust that has been hurt by correcting myself in the future and facing more music activities than ever before”.

Bunshun Online reported that Naoi had been married and had an affair with a woman in the past.  According to the article, Naoi had a wife and children but was having an affair with other women.
