Actor Mackenyu, who is starring in the drama series “Todonme no Kiss” posted a photo on Instagram with actor Yamazaki Kento holding him has gone viral with over 332,000 likes.
In the comment, Mackenyu teases his followers with:
“The Kissing Episode 5 of Todome. I’m getting married. I’m looking forward to #Todome no Kiss”.
Comments of the photo had one writing, “Is this the prince that comes from a fairytale?”, another wrote, “Indeed, they are both the ideal prince”.
Yamazaki Kento is the lead actor of “Todome no Kiss”, while Mackenyu is also an actor on the drama series. He is a Japanese-American actor from Los Angeles and is the son of popular Japanese actor, producer, director and martial artist, Sonny Chiba.
The drama series “Todome no Kiss” began on January 7, 2018 on NTV and airs every Sunday and is also distributed on Hulu Japan. The story revolves around a man named Dojima Otaro (portrayed by Yamazaki Kento) who works as a host. When he was younger, he was riding with his brother Kota on a cruise ship “Prometheus” which his father was captain. An accident happened and while Otaro was rescued, Kota died and because his father was imprisoned for the accident, Otaro must work hard to pay for reparation in behalf of his father.
And because of this incident, Otaro believes that love makes people unhappy and now only wants money and power.
One day, a mysterious woman appears to Otaro. She is seen with a pale face and red lips and she kisses him and Otaro dies.
But when he regains consciousness, he is seven day back in the past and the mysterious woman keeps following him.
Due to this kiss of death, Otaro is stuck in a loop where he keeps dying and going back to the past over and over again. How can he make it stop?
Mackenyu’s character Takashi, is the adoptive son of a man who owns one of the top hotels in Japan. 12 years ago, as a child he was also on the cruise ship “Prometheus” and when he overheard a conversation and in anger, ran into the engine room and threw his figurines that hit a machine, which the impact led to the accident on board the ship. There is video tape of Takashi throwing the figurine which may have caused the accident, but it is being held by a man named Arai, who was supposed to dispose of the video. But now he uses it as blackmail to further is own ambitions.
