The Rock speaks Japanese to promote his upcoming film “Rampage” in Japan

With the “Rampage” set to debut in theaters in the United States on April 20th, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is promoting the film (titled “Rampage ~Kyojudairantou~”) in Japan by speaking a little Japanese.

“Rampage” is loosely based on the popular Midway Games video games which debuted back in 1986.

In the film, primatalogist Davis Okoye (portrayed by Dwayne John), has a bond with an albino gorilla named George.  But a genetic experiment mutates the gentle ape into a giant creature who is on the rampage.  And it appears that a wolf (Ralph) and a crocodile (Lizzie) were also mutated and are battling each other for supremacy across North America, destroying everything in their path.

Can Davis and a discredited genetic engineer, Dr. Kate Caldwell (portrayed by Naomie Harris) find an antidote to halt the catastrophe and for Davis to save George?

The film reunites Dwayne Johnson and director Brad Peyton who both worked on the 2015 film “San Andreas”.
