Nogizaka46’s Ikoma Rina and Watanabe Shu attends the press conference for the 3rd Anniversary of Tokyo One Piece Tower

Nogizaka46 member Ikoma Rina attended a press conference for the 3rd Anniversary of Tokyo One Piece Tower on March 7th.

Tokyo One Piece Tower is a theme park dedicated to Oda Eiichiro’s “One Piece” manga series and is located at Tokyo Tower.

The indoor theme park opened back in March 2015 and attending the event along with Ikoma was actor Watanabe Shu.

Ikoma Rina is known to be a huge fan of “ONE PIECE” and has cosplayed as Luffy and even went to the press conference for the 3rd anniversary sporting a straw hat.

Watanabe has been a “ONE PIECE” fan since the series began back in 1997.

Ikoma Rina will be graduating from Nogizaka46 and many of the questions asked to her by press at the press conference of why she was leaving.

Ikoma commented, “I have accomplished a lot and there is nothing left for me to accomplish. I want to have a good finish right at the end”.

“I want to be an independent adult and I want to try new and exciting things because the future is bright.  I want to go on a voyage without any fear like Luffy!”.
