Wentz Eiji (32) will be temporarily suspending all entertainment activities in Japan as announced on the August 28th episode of NTV’s “Kayo Suprise!”.
Wentz said, “I will be studying abroad in London starting in October. I had a dream that I would be standing on stage in London and it’s a way to get closer to the dream while living in Japan. I’ve been making efforts for the past few years, but I feel like I want to study in the UK every day and work hard. I prepared myself to be able to do it”.
The period of studying abroad is about a year and a half and he will be staying with his agency.
Wentz’ father is German-American, his mother is Japanese. He began activities at the age of 4 and in 2002, he and Koike Teppei formed the pop music duo, WaT (Wentz and Teppei).
