Many people wondered why former AKB48 member, Nakamura Mariko (24), who is an announcer at Santelevision in Kobe City since April, has not appeared on the news since September 21st.

Her agency has revealed that Nakamura has been off the show due to poor physical condition.

It was announced that Nakamura will be returning to the program “4 o’clock! Catch” (Mondays through Friday at 4 p.m.).  It was revealed that she had acute hepatitis and was hospitalized for two weeks.

Nakamura wrote in a blog, “Everyone, I apologize that I abruptly stopped showing up on the program and I apologize for the trouble and inconvenience.  I had a high fever due to acute hepatitis and I was hospitalized for about two weeks from the end of September.  I have completely recovered and will be returning to work on the 5th”.

Nakamura also appears on “San TV News”, “Mayumi & Katsunari no Expert GOLF” and  “Rare Sugar Cooking”.
