Global pop group, IZ*ONE is one of the biggest entertainment stories right now as the group set sales records, won their first award as a group and their music video for “La Vie en Rose” has surpassed 18 million views.
And the final fourth episode of “IZ*ONE CHU” debuted last Friday night featuring the development of the group who are in members training and dividing into three groups, while Choi Yena and Miyawaki Sakura are off to another destination.
But the fourth episode also features details that many people were unaware of and were surprised to see, for example, we learn that Choi Yena had cancer at a young age and the hospital recommended to her parents to give up. Which they didn’t, they sold a Korean dish known as Kimbap well into the early morning in order to make money to pay for Yena’s medical treatments.
But there is so much more in this final episode for the first season of “IZ*ONE CHU” (which we hope there are more seasons planned in the near future) that will make fans laugh and even some to shed a tear as well.
The fourth episode has been subtitled in English by and available on IZ*ONE CHANNEL:
IZ*ONE (pronounced as “Eyez One”/IZ=12 and the meaning is 12 members coming together as ONE) features Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, Ahn Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minju and Lee Chaeyeon.
The 12 members are the finalists of Mnet’s “Produce48” which began with 48 trainees from South Korea and 48 members of Japan’s AKB48G (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48).
