Satoh Takeru to return as Kamen Rider Den-O for “Heisei Kamen Rider 20-saku Kinen Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER”

With the Heisei era coming to a close, a major announcement was just made for the “Heisei Kamen Rider 20-saku Kinen Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER” (Heisei Kamen Rider 20th Work Memorial Masked Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER) film.

Heisei Period is the current era in Japan which began on January 8, 1989, the day after the death of Emperor Hirohito (Emperor Hirohito’s era was known as Showa Era – 1988-2018), his son Akihito became Japan’s 125th Emperor.  The Heisei era will be ending on April 30, 2019 as Emperor Akihito will be abdicating the Chrysanthemum Throne.

Actor Satoh Takeru, best known for playing the lead role as Nogami Ryotaro for “Kamen Rider Den-O” will be in the film.  The first time has has reprised the role in ten years.

Overall comments were positive, with a few people who were upset that the HKR20 Twitter site dropped a spoiler.
