Recently promoted HKT48 member, Matsuda Yumi is leaving the group

In September, Fortune cherry (AKB48’s Tadaki Kyoka and HKT48’s Matsuda Yumi) won the “AKB48 Group 2nd Group Unit Janken Taikai” and their single “Himawari no nai Sekai” was released on December 19th.

On November 26th, Matsuda Yumi  (16) was promoted to a regular member for HKT48 and Team TII.

It was announced on the HKT48 website on December 27th that Matsuda will be leaving HKT48 effectively today.

UPDATE: Sashihara Rino (26) who serves as a theater manager and leader of HKT48 said, “There was a sudden graduation announcement and feeling sorry for the fans.  I feel sad but I have no choice but to pray that her future will be happy.  I feel that members are visibly upset, please do not rush to any comments/judgment”.
