HKT48’s Sashihara Rino on “Wide na Show” in regards to Yamaguchi Maho’s assault – “I felt the response from the management side was terrible”

HKT48 member Sashihara Rino (26) appeared on Fuji TV’s “Wide na Show” where the hosts and guests discuss news topics of the week.

Sashihara was booked on the show in advance prior to NGT48 member Yamaguchi Maho’s assault and when the topic of the assault and NGT48’s response to the assault, Sashihara criticized the management.

Sashihara said, “I felt the response from the management side was terrible, it was no good”.   From how management dealt with the incident in the beginning and also afterward.

Sashihara said that the announcement from AKS seemed as if they thought little of members security.  That the alarm devices suggested by management would not be effective but having staff checking on members is more effective.  She also criticized NGT48 management and said she didn’t know who was responsible for writing the response, nor who wrote the statement.

Sociologist Furuichi Noritoshi, who was also on the panel with Sashihara suggested that Sashihara should be at the top.

Sashihara said, “I feel there are a few people between the members and the management.  Although I can’t do anything, even if I stand at the top, I need a person who stands in between and I want to keep on standing for the meantime”.
