Former Morning Musume member Kudo Haruka apologizes for past comments she made about disliking guys who drink milk tea

Former Morning Musume member Kudo Haruka was known for being the youngest member to join Morning Musume at the age of 11 back in 2011.

She graduated in 2017 to pursue a career in becoming an actress and played the character of Umika Hayama/LupinYellow for the sentai series “Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger”.

Kudo will be featured in Kirin’s “Gogo no Kocha” (Afternoon Tea) CMs.

But Kudo Haruka has received negative attention for comments she made in the past about disliking guys who drink milk tea on the train.

Kudo took to her blog to apologize.

Kudo wrote, “I apologize for making inappropriate comments on my past blog.  I am very sorry.  My remarks were offensive to those who drink milk tea and I am very sorry for the people I made to feel uncomfortable.  In the future, I will be careful of my actions”.
