Nintendo has announced the upcoming release of the Nintendo Switch Lite.
The Nintendo Switch Lite will be sold in Japan for the suggested retail price of Y19980 and in the US for $199.99 and will be released on September 20. People can choose between the colors of yellow, gray and turquoise.
The Lite will not feature Joy-Con controllers but will be compact with a smaller 5.5 inch screen and will not be able to connect to a television. This is strictly for those who want a compact, all-in-one handheld gaming experience.
Because it will be much lighter, it also has a longer battery life that will last 3-7 hours of game play.
