YouTuber Hikaru donated 1 million yen to Kyoto Animation at animate’s donation box

YouTuber Hikaru donated 1 million yen to Kyoto Animation at animate’s donation box. Hikaru wrote on Twitter (with a video of his donation at animate) that he doesn’t watch much anime but he loves a lot of manga. He personally thought about this and wanted it to do it.

僕はアニメをほとんど見ませんが大の漫画好きで今回の件は個人的に思うところがありました。

When asked why he is sharing the video of him donating, Hikaru said, “I’m tweeting this because I’m a little influential. I understand that certain things should be done behind-the-scenes, and I understand there are people who will agree and disagree. But I did it not because I care for a favorite character but because I love Japanese anime manga”.

ある程度影響力を持たせてもらってる僕だからこそここでこうしてツイートしてます。
こういったことは影でするのが美徳という考えも分かりますし賛否両論きてしまうのも理解してますが今更僕は好感度とか気にするキャラでもないので堂々と公言します。

僕は日本のアニメ漫画が大好きです。
