Shikura Chiyomaru, who is the representative director and president of Mages and also in charge of leading the independent company Chiyomaru Studios made a management buyout (MBO) of all shares of the company held by parent company Dwango.
Mages plans to consolidate its business brand 5pb. into Mages to strengthen the company’s branding.

Chiyomaru Studio Co. Ltd. was responsible for managing the copyrights to the media projects which Shikura worked on, primarily the Science Adventure franchise and the Occultic;Nine novel series and creating stories for use in various media. 5pb. is a division of Mages which dealt with video game development.
Among the games developed by 5pb. “Steins;Gate Elite”, “Chaos;Child”, “Occultic;Nine”, “Corps Party: Blood Drive”, “Robotics;Note”, “Phantom Breaker” and many more titles.
The concept work is done by Chiyomaru Studio, who works with Mages to develop video games using the concepts and working with Kadokawa Corporation for the publishing of books, anime production and manga.
